Overview

What it measures: Agency and self-efficacy—students' belief in their capacity to succeed in learning tasks, influence outcomes, and overcome challenges.

When to use: Pre/post assessment in courses emphasizing student agency, self-directed learning, growth mindset, or learner empowerment. Works particularly well with experiential, project-based, or student-centered pedagogies.

Completion time: 2-3 minutes
