Scenarios & Response Options

Scenario 1: Mid-Semester Course Pivot

Context: You've designed a semester-long project-based learning activity for your Business Ethics course. Three weeks in, university administration announces a shift to online-only instruction due to unforeseen circumstances. Students express confusion about how the project will work remotely.

Response Options (participants rank best to worst):

A. Postpone the project until in-person instruction resumes and shift to lecture-based content temporarily.

B. Survey students about their concerns and remote collaboration capacity, then redesign project milestones to fit online format.

C. Keep the original project structure and provide detailed written instructions for completing it online.
